That is a little bit about me. 
  

School is starting really soon....

It really seems so unreal that I am going to school this year. I mean it all just seems not real. I have been homeschooled almost all my life and now I'm going to school....(freaking out). Truthfully, I don't want to go to school. Reasons why:

1) I know absolutely nobody in my class. I have a friend that is in the eighth grade but I still know nobody in my class. I am shy, around people I do not know.

2) I will have to be gone for five days a week from 8:15-3:15.  I am so used to being home all the time. And plus I have to sit and learn for seven hours...wow!! That is a lot to me because usually I can get up and get my school done within a few hours but this take seven hours.

3) I will defiantly miss my homeschool friends. Some of my homeschool friends I have grown up with and now I feel like I am leaving them behind while I go to school.

I dont want this to sound like complaining because I am willing to go to school and it was my choice and I chose to go. I also have some reasons why I want to go to school:

1) My amazing and awesome God has called me to reach out to new people and meet more friends. I have been asking and asking God to give me and opportunity to meet new people and a way to reach out to people and now that he gives me one, there is no way I could pass it up. I need to get out of my comfort zone and shine a light into the world and this is a perfect opportunity. 

2) The structure there is going to help me amazingly because I am not a self-motivated person. I take forever to get my school done just because I get distracted way to easily.  So, now if I know that it has to be brought back to school the next day I will actually get it done.

3) Its a new adventure for me. I'm always looking to try something new and now that I get the chance I'm going to take it!

So, half of me is not excited and the other half is bouncing off the walls excited.  And I have learned that recently I have let me not so excited part of me take over.  Until I wrote this post I was dreading going and now that I look at the reason I want to go gets me more excited. I got to change the way I look at things. :)

Holiday World.....and we're HOME!!!

Yesterday we went to Holiday World....an amusement park and a water park all in one big great park!!!! IT WAS PACKED!!! There were lines that lasted like an hour and a half long. What I thought was most interesting about the park is that there were different sections in the park (like a Halloween section, Christmas, fourth of July, etc.).  We left the park early than we planned on because it was so crowded. So, once we are done there we start our drive home.  We only made it 2 hours that night and then woke up this morning and drove the rest. We finally got home around 6 o' clock.  We are home at last!! And had a blast with my grandma and cousins! :)

CANCELLED

My surgery has been postponed till fall break or sometime around then. :(

Headed to IN

We are headed to Indiana tomorrow for the week. We are planning on just hanging out with my grandma and cousins.  Then that Saturday we are going to be going to an amusement park and a water park all in one big park. It is going to be a BLAST!!! :)

Eye Appoinments

I feel like my summer has been full of eye appointments.  I have had one almost every week for about 3 or 4 weeks. I am gonna be honest with y'all, I truthfully and extremely dislike going to the eye doctor.  I have been trying to get a surgery done on my eye to lift my eyelid because I have what people call a lazy eye. One eye lid lower than the other. So, the surgery is on for August 9. :)

A new adventure

We are officially accepted into Wesleyan Christian School. I have been homeschooled for the past six years and then now I all the sudden going back to school. I'm quite excited but nervous at the same time.  This will be the first time in six years that I will be in a school setting and gone for five days a week, every week.  And me, I'm not an early riser. I do not like to get up early or go anywhere that early so that will be another challenge for me.  BUT I'm up for that challenge....this is what God wants so I'm gonna do whether I want to or not.  I have 23 students in my class, we will have to squeeze in those classrooms.  Junior High and High Schoolers and in the same building, oh great....let me tell you this this building is smaller than my house...its a hallway with about 8 classrooms in it. Believe it, because it's true! I dont want to make it sound like I'm complaining because I am quite excited to go!  Here I come, on to challenge my new adventure.  :)

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!

BRANSON!!!!!  I got to spend my birthday in Branson. I got to go out with my dad for breakfast and then after that he took me to an AT&T store to get me a phone!!  YESSSSSS!!!!  I GOT A PHONE!!!!!

Once we got back we decided we were going to drive home that day and then I could go to CMT bingo with my friends. So overall, it was a GREAT day!!! :)

7 kids, 6 days, 5 gallon tub of ice cream, 4 pacis, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 adult!

7 kids...6 days...5 gallon tub of ice cream....4 pacis....3 dogs...2 cats...1 adult! My sister made that up and I wanted to post it. My parents were gone for almost a week and my grandma came down to watch us...lets just say...it has been CRAZY!!!  It has been hectic and I cannot wait to get out of the house tomorrow and then Thursday!  Looking forward to Homeschool PE!!! :)

The RACE! :)

Oklahoma City's Memorial Marathon....a run to remember. Kayla and Kayla G. decided to run a half marathon for Luke...as you know for later on that he is suffering from leukemia.  They raised a lot of money and designed shirts to run in.  I participated in the Kid's Marathon...you log in 25 miles before the race day and on that day you run 1.2 miles.  So, it's like you have completed and marathon over time. :)

Cantalouope Event

I know I haven't posted in awhile but you know, you got to start again somewhere. This night was such a cleansing night for me. I felt so overwhelmed going there and I came out feeling just relieved.  Repenting of your sins is an vital part of being a christian.  If you don't ever repent then you are not really a christian.  I also got some crazy pictures that I wanted to show!

COLORADO SPRINGS!!!!!!!

I am going on a mission trip to Colorado Springs!  I wanted to ask all of you guys who are reading this to be praying for me and my group as we head to Colorado on March 17-22.  We will being doing several different things there, like talking to different people witnessing.  I have to be honest, I am kinda nervous to be going because I am that type of person who goes up and starts talking to people if i don't know them.  I'm actually shy if I don't know the person, but when I do know the person then I am like the loudest, most craziest person you've met...ask my friends they'll tell you.  So just be in pray for safe travels and that God will work through us each and every day while we are there. :)

Alaina Birthday!!!!

I know it has been a month since I've posted....so much has went on that I haven't had time to sit down and write. I can hardly believe that Alaina is now one.  I remember the day I first saw her, sleeping quietly in her foster moms arms.  She is SO tiny I remember thinking.  And now she is sitting up, crawling, and standing up.  Next thing you know she is going to be walking all over the place and we won't ever get to sit down because we have to chase her everywhere. I just can't wait til she starts walking. She is such a precious baby! :) 

D-NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D-NOW was totally amazing. The Lord worked through me there in SO many ways. I met new people and the people I already new I became closer with! The new thing now is the dart game, if you have ever played you will know what it is like to have fun!!! It can get pretty annoying though when you have people constantly shooting you and you can't ever do anything with out be shot and waiting for someone to pull it out of you!! The best part about it is killing other people and seeing how long they actually stay dead. I don't have any pictures to post because I didn't bring a camera but just take my word on it...it was such a great time.  I grew in the Lord there in lots of ways.  You have to learn to depend on the Lord and not always yourself.  The Lord is here for you and will always be there. :)

The Devil ATTACKS

My dad was right the devil sure did attack. One my really good friends brother has relapsed, which means that he had leukemia and then went into remission and it has came back.  So short story he has leukemia. He is a strong christian and wherever the Lord leads him he will go.  This has been a tough time for there family.  Pray for healing over him if it is the Lord's will. We have to remember to TRUST in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5!  Please be in constant pray for Luke and his family! :) 

A NEW YEAR

I always love when a new year begins, you get a fresh start. Our family usually gets together to sit around the dining room table and talk about our new year resolutions.  We were all talking about how we wanted to grow more or be more of a follower of Christ. Later, that night my dad said "Just wait the devil is going to attack."   We don't know what is going to happen in these next year but we hope that it will make us all stronger and closer the the Lord. :)
