Giddings, TX
I love Giddings!!! We are staying at Camp Tejas and they are setting up lights for the light show. The light show is from Jesus’ birth through Acts. We have recently been setting up lights around the whole Camp. I made a new friend and her name is Megan. She is 19 and very funny!! Our friends are there too. They have 6 kids and we all have someone to play with. It has been very fun to serve and play with all the people there. For thanksgiving we went to a church to help serve the people who would come. And what is really weird is that a week later my dad was reading the newspaper and look over at this picture and he saw himself, me, my friend, and other volunteers. That is the overall of what we have been doing lately.

My book
Hello!! I have been making a book lately and have finished the first chapter! I want to share it with you so you could give me your opinions!! Here it is:
Chapter One
Going home with a Stranger!
Hello! Let me introduce my self. I am Alisha and I am 11 years old!! I have six siblings (not including me). There names are Aliyah, Exavier, Anna, Israel, Joanna, Christoper (but we call him Chrissy). Here is some of what my siblings like to do! Aliyah, who is thirteen, loves to text all of her friend 24/7. Alisha, who is eleven, loves to read and write. Exavier, who is ten, is adiccted to video games. Anna, who is eight, is a little sweetheart too. Isreal, who is six, loves to do school and swim. Joanna, who is three, love to watch Dora and Blues clues. Israel, who is one, is a snuggler. We live in Brownsville, Texas in an old house with only three bedrooms. We have been wanting to get a new house but we just dont have enough money for it yet.
Recently, our dad passed away in a big car wreck! It has been hard trying to be a good example for my younger siblings when you are so sad too. One day we got a letter from town saying on the way to town our mother was kidnapped and they found her body dead at the side of the road. I handed the letter to Aliyah and seconds later the house was filled with crying.
That day my life had changed. At first i wondered where my dad had gone when he died and now i have to wonder wher mom went to. "Where do people go when they die" I wondered.
Aliyah was scanning through the letter when she found that is said " Meet me at the court house as soon as you get this letter." Aliyah who was sobbing said "Lets get going so we can this whole thing over with and go live with Grandma." At the sound of that everybody burst into bigger tears.
We started our walk since we couldn't afford a car and plus if we did have a car who would drive it. By the time we walked one mile our feet already started aching really bad. Then suddenly a fancy car came down the road and there was a woman with blonde hair sitting in the front. She had a raident dress on. After another mile we sat down for a rest and there was complete silence. Finally, Exavier broke the silence by saying "What if MawMaw won't take all of us and will only take two of us? Where would everybody else go??" "I don't know where we would go" I said "but all I know is that i want to stay together!! Agree??" "Agree" everybody said at the same time. I felt so bad for Israel because he couldn't get that mommy is gone.....forever.
We finally made it to the court house and was greeted by some well dressed men who showed us to our seats. Right when we sat down the judge sarted talking " We are here to figure out where we are going to send these children. We are probably going to put them in an orpanage if we can't get in contact with any of there reaaltives. If anybody knows someone that would like to adopted these children please stand."
Only one person in the whole place stood up. It was a woman who looked pretty nice in her raident dress and blonde hair. She said "Hello my name is Holly Renee and I would like to adopted all these little orphans." My eyes grew bigger and bigger by the moment. Thats the woman I saw in the fancy car on the way over here. "Should i be excited or scared?" I thought while stitting there patiently.
After a while it was official that we were going to go home with this lady we don't even know!! While the papers were being signed we sat outside and waited. Anna said "Why are we going to go home with some stranger?" " Remember our mom died and there is no one to live with us so someone adopted us" I replied sadly. "Oh ya .....but im starving" she replied back. We had totally forgot that we haven't eaten since this morning.
Right then there was a burst through the door and there she stood our new mother. She said "Come along now there is no time to waste im in a hurry." "Why are you in a hurry??" asked Anna. "Beacause i am so excited to show you your new house" she repiled in a suspicious way. "Ok im kinda excited too" Anna said.
Everybody practically fell to sleep on the ride to our new home. The cushions were so soft!! Soon we came to a stop and right in front of us stood a huge brick building. It was so amazing. Everybody was out from the car in a flash and the door was opened by a maid!! There were no words to speak except oooooooo's and ahhhhhhhhh's. "But there was one thing missing!! Holly Renne, where had she gone?? I didn't see her get out of the car." My thoughts were disturbed by a maid asking me if i would like to see my own room!
Everybody felt like they were in paridise until Holly Renee hadn't been seen the whole night. There is something suspicious about that lady. "Aliyah" I called. Aliyah answered "What do you want?" "Have you seen our Holly Renee since we got out of the car?" I asked. Aliyah repiled confused "No i actually haven't ." "Oh really I haven't either. Thats weird!!" I said. "We should probably get all the kids ready for bed they have had a long day" Aliyah sugested.
We all woke up very early the next morning and still no sign of Holly Renne. I was starting to worry about what we have gotten our selves into. I asked the butler if he had any idea where she could be and he also had no idea either. So i decided to go look therough her room (I don't think it is a smart idea but im still going to do it).
I made it into her room and boy was it a mess! Does she ever clean?? I was looking non stop until I found a little peice of paper under her bed. It was very easy to make out but...... the door is opening!! All the sudden I felt pushed and shoved and then there was blackness.

Rollerblading, Tubing, St. Louis, Crash, Branson, West plains.
Rollerblading is so much fun!! It is fun until you get a blister and once you get a blister you want to keep skating and then it just hurts worse so you stop. I love to roller blade. I can't skate but I can roller blade. There is a rollerblading rink in Terre Haute which is like thirty minutes from where we are staying we have been there one time while we have been there but we had a blast while we were there.
Tubing is OK until you fall off. My dad, Kayla, Clayton, and me went tubing for the first time in our life. Well i don't know about my dad he might have been tubing before but i don't know. We went tubing and Kayla and two other friends went tubing first. They all enjoyed it but i kept thinking it was my turn next. I was scared but after i was on it and started going I found out that i loved it. So we took a little break to go swimming. It was so much fun but we wanted to go tubing again so this time all of us got on except the adults. So there was five kids on the raft. And we hit a big wave and Clayton flew right off the back into the water. So two people got off so it was me, Kayla, and a friend. We hit another big wave and the tube flipped and we were all flying in the air....it hurt!!!!! So we all got back on the tube and flipped off the tube again...and that time it hurt worse.
St. Louis was awesome!!! We made it to St Louis on the way to Branson. We took a stop there for a day and did some stuff. But on the way there we were stuck out on the side of the highway for three hours because we got a flat tire. And we thought we could get it done fast but when we figured out that the spare tire on the truck was the wrong size. Then it took us forever to get another tire. Oh ya and us for kids were in the car the whole time and we were tired. Once we got back on the road all us kids fell to sleep the rest of the way. We all woke up when we got to the campsite. The next morning we all woke up around 8:30-9:00ish. Once we were all up and ready we went to the arch. We rode in this little circle tram up to the top of the Arch. Once we were up in the Arch it was cool. You look out the window at the top and you can see all of St Louis. It was awesome. We watched a couple movies about the Arch while there. So after that we ate lunch at taco bell and then headed over to the Magic House. The Magic House was really cool. There was this one thing i wanted to work so bad but it wouldn't. it was this bubble thing were you stand and pull the rope and it is supposed to come up to your head and you see what it looks like in a bubble. We had an awesome time there. Then we went back to the camper and chilled for about thirty minutes. Then we went on a bus, and the bus took us to a tram station and the tram took us to the Cardinal game. The Cardinal's won, 8 to 4!! Yay!! That was our day at St. Louis.
We saw a terrible CRASH on the way to Branson. In the crash there two school buses, a truck, and a semi. There was two people killed and 50 people injured. The wreck was on the news. That's how bad it was
Branson was HOT!!! We went swimming like everyday because it was so hot. By the way we met this family there. They were camping right next to us and we became great friends with them. they invite us to White Water with them because it was so hot. they also invited us to go to there town in MO. so over all Branson was fun!!
WEST PLAINS, MO
West Plains was a blast. We had fun meeting new families and other kids. I met this girl there her name is Grace. She was so nice and fun. Me and her had a blast together while we were there. We were only going to be for a little bit we just kept deciding to stay a little longer. It was a blast there in West Plains.

Lots of Stuff
We went back to bartlesville on June 10th. The first day we were there we slept because it was night time when we arrived there. It was only me, Kayla, Clayton, and my dad. The next day me and Clayton went swimming in frontier pool with our friend. Later that night me and Clayton went to the baseball fields to watch Charlie play and Randikate was there. I had loads of fun with Randikate that night. I stay the night at the Summers house and John David stayed at our house. The next day me and Clayton went swimming with friends at there house. After that we ate a Popsicle. We stay there till 4 and at 4 we left to go to another friends house. We stayed there till midnight because the parents were talking. We got home and went right to sleep. The next day we went to church and got home to take a quick nap. Then we went to some one house and there we ended up going swimming. And we ate lunch there and well we had a blast. After that we went to a friends house and our parents talk while we played wii (which we mostly played rock band), talked, and play with the dog. We went home and we were worn out even when we took a nap. The next day I didn't go anywhere till 2 and at 2 I went to gym and saw two of my friends and 1 of my friends didn't know I was staying the night and so while she was taking of her gym clothes I got in the back of her car and scared her. One thing her mom knew I was staying the night. And the next morning I didn't get to see my friend because she was at play practice. So her mom dropped me off at my friends house and i stayed there till 5:15 and she droped me off at my house house. And I got there and and packed up my clothes and then i was off to a another sleep over. It was the best. That day we went to the bowling alley and they had a surprise party for me. It was the best. And last but not least i stayed the night at another friends house. And the next day we did nothing. And that night we went to bed early because we left at 4 am in the morning. And we got back in Indiana at 2 in the afternoon. Well thats it!

Graduation
My 18 year old cousin graduated from high school yesterday!! Congratulations Ashely!!!! After the graduation we went to there house for a party. My second cousin was there and her name is Chloe. She is ten years old, like me!! We had hotdogs, Hamburgers, Cake, and Ice cream. It was very tasty.

As the days go by...
As the days go by we are all having fun with our cousins. Memorial weekend was the best!! On Saturday, my family, grandma, and my two cousins went to the lake. We all had the best time ever. My cousins are 4 and 2 and they loved the lake and didn't want to leave. After we were done with the lake we went to some Jupiter jumps which were set up by the lake. And that night my 4 year old cousin stayed the night. Sunday morning we woke up early to go to church which my 4 year old cousin came with us. My other cousin met us there with my aunt. He is only 3 but he gets along with all the other boys. After church we went to the campgrounds park with my cousins but we weren't there for long because it was extremely HOT!! So after that we all hung out at my grandma's house and my 3 year old cousin stayed the night. That next whole day we stayed and played at my grandmas house. And that afternoon my cousin left and when they left we scraped booked for my cousins graduation. On Tuesday we went to the grocery store then we went to the camper and that night we went and watched a softball game. On Wednesday we we thought it was going to rain all day but we were lucky and it was sunny all day so we went to Shakamak pool and it had a big waterside. We stayed there till we had to go home and get ready for church. Then we went to church and there was a missionary from Togo, West Africa. It was cool listening to them. And today we stayed at the camper and did some school and well then we went to the grocery store again. And now we are at our grandmas house about to go play a family game on the Wii. It has been a awesome week.

Its Really REAL!!!
Its really real that we are moving. I mean it never felt so real till now because we are going to leave next Sunday. Not this Sunday NEXT SUNDAY!! I'm going to miss a lot about this town. Here are most of them:
1. My Friends- - - I have a lot of friends that we'll be missed. And I bet there will be a lot of friends that will miss me. It will be very hard to leave my friends.
2. Stage Art- - - Dance will be a thing that will be miss a lot too. I have loved going to dance these past couple years. It will be very missed.
3. Awana's- - - Awana's was really fun to do. But it will be fun to do my verses on the road but it won't be like the real Awana's.
It will be very hard to see these things go but there just going to have to. I will still be able to write letters, send emails, and text.

Rumpelstiltskin
Today I went and auditioned for Rumpelstiltskin. While I was auditioning I was thinking to myself "Oh, I'm not going to get a part." Then this lady came up to me and asked me my name and well of course I told her. After that I was acutally thinking I might get a part. Right then I just wanted it to be over so I could see if I got a part or not. Well the time came when I they were just about to tell the parts. The first group went by and I didn't get a part . Then the second group came and BAM! THEY CALLED MY NAME!!!! WHOHOOO!!! I am a villager in the play and they said that the villager and the wizards are on stage more then anybody else. I am rehersing tommorrow from 4:00pm-8:30pm. This is awesome! Well got to go!

OH NO!!!!
OH NO!!!! Our van broke down this moring and we didn't get to go to Indiana. So, our plan is to go tommorrow if nothing goes wrong. I was really mad that i woke up at 7:00 and we didn't get to go. I hope nothing goes wrong tommorrow. Our plan is to pack lunch and in Rolla to stop at McDonald's and get $1.00 ice cream cones. Then I don't know the rest of the plan so thats it.

Indiana
This is going to be a quick post about tommorrow! Tommorrow we are going to Indiana because my great-grandpa is in the hosipital. Last night the doctor took him off all machines and nobody thought he was going to live through the night, but guess what he lived. But he could die any time so we are still praying. We have a long drive tommorrow. I might not post for a while. Hopfully, I will post tommorrow and tell you how my grandpa is doing.

Cousins
Our cousins moved in with us in September!! Sorry I haven't blog about them yet but it has gotten so busy with CC, Schoolwork, and two more kids in the house. My cousins names are Cadence who is 4 ans Bri who is 2!! Here are some pictures of them!!!
